Summary

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) can cause allergic contact dermatitis due to acrylate in conductive gels. This study highlights acrylate as a potential sensitizer in TENS electrodes, necessitating alternative treatments for affected patients.

Background:
