Intestinal microflora in breastfed colicky and non-colicky infants

Summary

Infants with colic show different gut bacteria compared to healthy infants. Colicky babies had fewer Lactobacillus species and more anaerobic gram-negative bacteria, suggesting a link between gut flora and infant colic.
