Having multiplied rapidly, the options for intervention and treatment of acute renal failure in infants and small children are numerous. Thus, the need for the dialysis nurse and the critical care nurse to maintain, expand, and develop a new baseline of knowledge is a constant challenge. This article explores the management and treatment options for acute renal failure in infants and children.
