Summary
Hand-assisted retroperitoneoscopic surgery is effective and safe for treating renal tumors and upper urinary-tract transitional-cell carcinoma (TCC). This minimally invasive approach offers a viable option for radical nephrectomy (RN) and nephroureterectomy (NU).
