[Microphlebography. A useful technique in the therapy of microvarices]

The difficulties encountered in compiling preoperative mapping of telangiectasis led the authors to consider possible investigations other than the usual clinical examinations. Of the methods available, only phlebographic examination was found to be of any practical use in telangiectasis. The procedure developed by the authors, known as microphlebography has demonstrated its effectiveness in final mapping and clinico-radiological transfer. Microphlebography is an inoffensive examination which is easy to perform and useful in treating telangiectasia using this personal technique of micro-coagulo-surgery.
