Cervical disc prostheses offer a motion-preserving alternative to fusion surgery. Early results show excellent pain relief and a high return to work rate with minimal complications.

This study evaluated early outcomes of cervical disc prostheses implantation in 50 patients (51 prostheses).
The anterior surgical approach was used, with follow-up ranging from one to 14 months.

Excellent resolution of pain and neurological symptoms was observed.
An 80% return to work rate was achieved within three months post-surgery.
Complications were minimal, including two cases of hemorrhage requiring removal; no infections or dislocations were noted.
