Abstract:
Back school is the center of the fastest moving specialty in health care today. Back school has grown from the stick-drawing handouts of the 1960s, through the formal audio visual programs of the 1970s, to work hardening, prevention, and patient management models of the 1980s. The author explores some of the issues facing back school in the 1990s and beyond.
