Background:

  • Lichen amyloidosus is a form of cutaneous amyloidosis characterized by amyloid deposition in the dermal papillae.

  • A 74-year-old male presented with multiple, pruritic, keratotic papules and plaques on the trunk and extremities.
  • Erosions and vesicles were observed on the keratotic lesions.

  • Histopathology revealed subepidermal blisters with amyloid deposits in the dermal papillae.
  • No evidence of systemic disease or organ involvement was found.
  • The clinical and histological features were consistent with a bullous variant of lichen amyloidosus.
