[Contribution of large clinical studies to daily practices]
1Service d'Ophtalmologie, Hôpital Général, BP 1519, 21033 Dijon Cedex.
Abstract:
OHTS, CIGTS, EMGT, AGIS, CNTG: many multicenter, randomized and double-blind studies have been published in the last few years, greatly expanding our knowledge of glaucoma. Although for ophthalmologists this research is essential for their daily clinical practice, its interpretation must remain nuanced, if only because the scores evaluating the progression of this ocular pathology in terms of the optic disc and visual field cannot be compared from one study to another.
