Summary

Myeloid cell leukemia-1 (MCL-1) protein is frequently expressed in high-grade B-cell lymphomas and plasma cell myeloma. This expression, predominantly the anti-apoptotic full-length isoform, correlates with lymphoma grade and may drive transformation.
