Purpose:
To study the clinic adaptive effect of speech articulation of patient with complete denture.
Methods:
The sensitive utterance study was /zi/, /ci/, /si/, which was input into CSL directly before and after patient's restoration at the beginning, then at 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 8 weeks, B2 of the utterance of 30 edentulous patients were measured by the computer.
Results:
There were significant differences in F2 and B2 before and after patient's restoration.
Conclusion:
There is a definite regularity of speech articulation after restored with complete denture. CSL helps us to analyze speech articulation by visual accessing and provides basic theory of evaluation in clinical dental prosthetics.
