Summary

Estradiol, a form of estrogen, may prevent cardiovascular disease (CVD) by promoting beneficial oxidative stress. This study shows estradiol enhances neutrophil degranulation and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation, supporting its protective role in CVD prevention.
