[Laparoscopic ilio-femoral by-pass. A case-review]

The authors introduce a laparoscopically conducted ilio-femoral by-pass operation for the external iliac artery occlusion. The common pelvic artery preparation, the clips application, the arteriotomy and the central anastomosis, all were conducted laparoscopically, the peripheral anastomosis was then carried out through a standard inguinal incision. The laparoscopic approach represents, together with angioplasties and stentgraft implantations, yet another technical variation in vascular surgery.
