Purpose/Method:
The present study shows two patients with giant cell arteritis. Both patients showed single isolated cotton-wool spots as the only clinical manifestation.
Results/Conclusion:
Single cotton-wool spots can be an early ophthalmoscopic finding in giant cell arteritis and can precede an important visual loss.
