An ongoing partnership in care. Nursing innovations in a rehabilitation ward

Part of a combined rheumatology and rehabilitation ward was turned into a specialist rehabilitation unit in the interests of individualised patient care. This required a re-examination of the nursing care, and resulted in the implementation of primary nursing and improved communication.
