Summary

Von Willebrand factor (vWF) is increasingly expressed in osteosarcoma tumors, particularly in metastases. This suggests vWF may play a role in the progression of this bone cancer.

    • Osteosarcoma cells can express vWF, suggesting an autocrine or paracrine role.
    • Increased vWF expression may contribute to osteosarcoma metastasis.
