Summary

This study compared two methods for reconstructing body mass from skeletal remains in 1,173 modern humans. Both femoral head breadth (FH) and stature/bi-iliac breadth (STBIB) methods yielded similar body mass estimates, confirming their reliability for paleoanthropological research.
