Abstract:
The application of diagnostic imaging modalities in the management of adnexal masses is reviewed. Nonionizing radiation techniques (ultrasound and magnetic resonance) are particularly important in pregnant and pediatric patients. Special consideration is given to imaging adnexal masses during reproductive development and senescence.
