Area of Science:

  • Control Theory
  • Systems Engineering
  • Applied Mathematics

Background:

  • Robust control is crucial for systems operating under uncertainty.
  • Existing generalized l2 (Gl2) and generalized H2 (GH2) methods have limitations in multi-objective scenarios.
  • Linear matrix inequality (LMI) constraints are widely used for control design.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To develop a new, less conservative approach for multi-objective robust control.
  • To extend existing Gl2 and GH2 conditions to a novel set of LMI constraints.
  • To address the multi-channel, multi-objective mixed Gl2/GH2 control problem.

Main Methods:

  • Extension of standard Gl2 and GH2 conditions.
  • Introduction of new linear matrix inequality (LMI) constraints.
