Summary

This study found no link between common glucocorticoid receptor (GR) gene variants and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in Vietnam veterans. Glucocorticoid sensitivity, measured by the dexamethasone suppression test and dermal vasoconstrictor assay, was similar in PTSD patients and controls.
