Abstract:
In the discussion on prevention of urinary tract infection, interest is now centered on virulence factors of microorganisms and immunological defense mechanisms of the host organism. In this article current research results and the clinical aspects of an immunological treatment method for urinary tract infection are summarized and discussed.
