Summary

Pediatric follicular thyroid carcinomas are more frequently associated with lymphocytic infiltrates than papillary thyroid carcinomas. This finding highlights a potential link between thyroiditis and specific thyroid cancer types in children.

    • Further research is warranted to elucidate the specific mechanisms underlying this association.
