Summary

Moderate wine consumption may offer cardiovascular protection for chronic renal failure (CRF) patients. Wine polyphenols, like quercetin and resveratrol, possess antioxidant and endothelial-protective properties beneficial in managing CRF-accelerated atherosclerosis.
