Abstract
Case Report:
We present a 71 year-old woman with good control of her eye disease who developed a severe Graves' ophthalmopathy after retrobulbar anesthesia for cataract surgery.
Discussion:
Local pressure in the retrobulbar compartment can cause the development of a severe ophthalmopathy in a patient with Graves' ophthalmopathy.
