  • To systematically evaluate the prevalence and spectrum of neurological abnormalities in celiac disease patients.
  • To investigate the potential association between neurological disorders and celiac disease.

  • Retrospective analysis of medical records from 148 celiac disease patients diagnosed between 1980 and 1999.
  • Neurological abnormalities were identified and assessed for attribution to conditions other than CD.
