Legislation for nurse prescribing now seems destined to be implemented in October 1993, writes Judith Moreton who is on the nurse prescribers formulary subcommittee. A private members bill from Chislehurst MP Roger Sims, received its second reading on the 31 January. It has full government support and should become law in this session of parliament.
