The catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) gene Val108/158 Met polymorphism did not affect executive functions in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This contrasts with findings in adult populations, suggesting a different role in pediatric ADHD.
