CSF homocysteine is not elevated in schizophrenia

High homocysteine levels, a risk factor for vascular and Alzheimer's diseases, were investigated in schizophrenia patients. Cerebrospinal fluid homocysteine levels did not differ between schizophrenia patients and healthy controls in this study.
