Actocardiotocographic monitoring of triplets during vaginal delivery
1Department of Perinatal Medicine, Sophia Hospital Zwolle, The Netherlands.
Abstract:
A case is reported in which fetal monitoring during vaginal delivery of triplets was performed with the MT 430 actocardiotocograph. This method provides optimal monitoring of multiple pregnancies because the fetal heart rate tracings of three fetuses, together with recordings of fetal movements and uterine contractions, can be visualized on one display.
