Abstract:
The studies of 14C-thiamine metabolism in the organism of white mice have revealed that main part of the injected thiamine catabolizes to thiochrome and 4-methyl-5 beta-oxyethylthiazole. These compounds are greatly eliminated from the organism during first hour after thiamine injection.
