The school therapist and vocational education

Students with disabilities are now placed in regular industrial arts and vocational training programs in secondary schools. Vocational educators agree that teachers need assistance in serving these students with special needs. This paper explores the contributions school occupational therapists can make to vocational education for handicapped students. Recommendations are included for therapists interested in moving into new roles in this field.
