Abstract:
A technique for collecting cervical mucus in ewes is described. By a surgical procedure, the cervix was fixed to the ventral abdominal wall to enable mucus to be collected continuously into a container attached to the ewe. Mucus was collected successfully by this method for up to 14 months.
