Abstract:
Pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments have been shown to greatly improve quality of life for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This article looks at schemes to help professionals and patients manage this life-threatening condition by improving symptoms and preventing exacerbations.
