Abstract:
With huge plant DNA data released by genome sequence project, the high-throughput DNA microarray technology has been proven an effective way to bridge the gap between plant genome sequence information and functional genomics. The technology has been used to investigate the gene expression patterns and to elucidate the role of genes. In this review, we briefly outline the features of DNA microarray and highlight its recent applications in plant biology, especially in the identification of stress-response elements and in the clarification of plant signal network.
