Abstract:
Mechanical stress (MS) is one of the most important factor regulating bone metabolism. However, little is known about the mechanism by which MS contribute to this important biological event. In this paper I will present a brief overview of the hypotheses and data so far presented as well as the ongoing researches elsewhere.
