Background:

  • A young male patient presented with multiple pseudoaneurysms affecting the carotid, radial, and femoral arteries.
  • The patient also experienced deep vein thrombosis in the right femoral vein.

  • The clinical presentation, including recurrent oral and genital ulcerations and characteristic eye lesions, led to the diagnosis of Behcet's disease.
  • The patient's vascular findings (pseudoaneurysms and DVT) are consistent with known Behcet's disease manifestations.

Implications:

  • This case highlights the importance of considering Behcet's disease in young patients with unexplained arterial and venous thrombotic events.
  • Recognition of these vascular complications is vital for timely intervention and management of Behcet's disease.
  • Further research into the pathogenesis of vascular Behcet's disease may improve treatment strategies.
