Abstract
Background:
Carcinoma arising in a neovagina is rare.
Case:
A patient with an adenocarcinoma arising from a neovagina constructed with use of a sigmoid segment.
Conclusion:
Transplanted intestinal tissue should not be overlooked, especially in patients with an increased risk for developing metachronous malignancies.
