Summary
Interferon (IFN) alpha-2a offers a new treatment for serpiginous choroiditis (SPC) in patients unresponsive to other therapies. This IFN alpha-2a treatment prevented recurrences and stabilized lesions, preserving useful vision in 50% of patients.
