[Reevaluation of breath alcohol concentration with Alcotest 7410]

To examine the applicability of the Alcotest 7410 machine for preliminary testing of breath alcohol systematic investigations were performed. After the end of drinking alcohol blood samples were taken in series from one person and parallel breath tests were carried out. Under the conditions used for the blood sampling by the police breath tests were carried out on 168 subjects 1-5 mins after the bloodsampling. The suitability of the Alcotest 7410 machine as a preliminary test for breath alcohol is discussed.
