Background:

  • Pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma is a rare benign lung tumor.

  • A 32-year-old asymptomatic woman presented with bilateral lung masses on chest computed tomography.
  • Initial suspicion was for metastatic lung tumors due to the bilateral nature and appearance.
  • No primary tumor site was identified despite thorough investigation.

Findings:

  • Simultaneous video-assisted thoracic surgery was performed for bilateral tumor resection.
  • Pathological examination confirmed both masses as pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma.
