Abstract:
After a short description of the mechanism of the development of polysystemic autoimmune diseases, this paper presents the in vitro laboratory methods suitable for the characterization of the humoral and cellular elements of immune system, furthermore, summarizes the characteristic autoantibodies and other laboratory alterations in these diseases.
