Summary

Pentoxifylline may improve heart failure symptoms and cardiac function, but current trials are too small for definitive conclusions. Larger studies are needed to confirm its effectiveness in heart failure management.

  • Four studies with 144 participants met inclusion criteria; meta-analysis was not performed due to heterogeneity.
