Summary

Overlapping fifth toe in children rarely needs surgery. The Butler procedure offers a safe and effective surgical solution with excellent outcomes and no complications.

  • A retrospective review of five pediatric patients who underwent the Butler procedure for overlapping fifth toe between 1992 and 2002.
  • Patients were evaluated post-operatively using the Black score after a mean follow-up of 6 years.
