Summary
This case report suggests a link between Fuchs heterochromic cyclitis (FHC) and ocular toxocariasis. Testing for toxocariasis may be beneficial in FHC patients with retinal scars when toxoplasmosis is ruled out.

Background:
- Fuchs heterochromic cyclitis (FHC) is a chronic, low-grade uveitis with an often-unclear etiology.
- Ocular parasitic infections can mimic or coexist with other intraocular inflammatory conditions.
Observation:
- A 26-year-old presented with unilateral intermediate uveitis and a subretinal fibrotic lesion, clinically diagnosed as FHC.
- Laboratory investigations were conducted to rule out infectious causes of the uveitis.

- LISA assay revealed elevated IgG antibodies against Toxocara canis, indicating ocular toxocariasis.
- Toxoplasmic serology was negative, and other systemic tests were non-contributory.
