Sevoflurane as an alternative anaesthetic for electroconvulsive therapy

Sevoflurane anesthesia during electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) prolonged motor seizure duration compared to propofol. Sevoflurane inhalation is a viable alternative for ECT anesthesia, with similar recovery profiles.
