Summary

Staphylococcal superantigen-like proteins (SSLs) from Staphylococcus aureus do not harm dendritic cells but can elicit immune responses in humans. These SSLs are immunogenic, stimulating both B and T cells, though their role in host-pathogen interaction remains unclear.

Background:
