  • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the 'lift-cut' percutaneous release technique for trigger digits.

  • 180 patients with 240 trigger digits underwent percutaneous release.
  • A 'lift-cut' technique was employed.
  • Patients were reviewed at 3 months post-procedure.

Main Results:

  • 94% of patients achieved excellent or good outcomes.
  • Recurrence occurred in 10 patients, requiring open release.
  • No digital nerve or flexor tendon injuries were observed.

Conclusions:

  • The 'lift-cut' percutaneous release is a safe and effective outpatient procedure for trigger digits.
  • It offers high success rates with minimal complications.
