Drug poisoning patterns: the Albany experience, 1978 and 1988.

This study found significant changes in poisoning cases at Albany Medical Center Hospital between 1978 and 1988, with an increase in admissions and altered poisoning patterns. Notably, the gender disparity in poisonings observed in 1978 was no longer present by 1988.
