A randomized clinical trial of valacyclovir in multiple sclerosis

Valacyclovir showed promising trends in slowing multiple sclerosis (MS) progression clinically, but not via MRI, in a two-year safety and efficacy study. The antiviral agent demonstrated good tolerability in patients with MS.
