[Ways of avoiding errors in blood pressure taking]

Factors that lead to false measurement and reading of blood pressure (BP) are described and rationalised. Such factors are: inappropriate equipment, false position of the client during measurement of the BP and his relation to the equipment that is used, wrong position of the nurse during the procedure, techniques used as well as other factors which may influence BP.
